Unfortunately, it is not possible to postpone or cancel a telc exam after registration. You can find more information about this in our terms and conditions.
Unfortunately, we cannot cancel or postpone a telc exam even if you are ill. You can find more information about this in our terms and conditions.
Of course! We organize our exam days so that you take both parts of the exam on the same day. This is especially convenient for you if you are traveling from outside Hamburg or need to take a day off from work. Please keep the whole day free, as there may be a longer break between your two exam parts!
Both parts of the exam take place on the same day. However, you can register for two different exams and have your partial results combined (please note that you need the results of the first part of the exam).
If you have first passed only one part of the telc examination and then register again for the other part, you can always have the result of the part you passed combined. For example: You have passed the oral exam, but not the written part. Then you register again for only the written exam and you can have your result of the original oral exam combined with your new results from the new written exam. The same works the other way around (pass the written exam, repeat the oral exam). Please note that we need your participant number (Teilnehmernummer) from the passed part of the exam! You will find this number on the result sheet. The result of a partial exam is valid for combination with a new exam until the end of the calendar year following the exam. For example, if you passed a partial exam in February 2021, you can use it for exam combination until the end of 2022. Another prerequisite for a credit is that it is only possible with the result of the last examination taken
Yes, that's exactly how it is! You book an online preparation course INCLUDING the telc exam.
We will send you an email with all the important information about your exam about a week before your exam day. Here we also tell you when you have to be at the exam center. Normally our first exams begin at 9 am but you will have to check in much earlier than that.
If you have not received an email from us four days before your exam date, please check your spam folder. If there is no e-mail there either, please contact us immediately at info@speakeasy.hamburg !
You are not allowed to use your cell phone during the exam (not even during the break in the written part of the C1 or C1 university exam) or during the preparation time for your oral exam. Please make all important calls before the start of the written exam and before entering the waiting area for the oral exam. Other electronic aids are also strictly prohibited on the day of the exam.
Yes, a few things you bring, please:
Unfortunately, we cannot change the time of your oral exam. Please keep the entire day of the exam free, as there may be a longer break between the written and oral parts of the exam.
About a week before your exam, you will receive an email from us with all the important information on your exam day. Please make sure you arrive at the exam center on time. Report here at the reception for the ID check. We will then tell you in which room your exam will take place. At the end of the written exam, we will tell you when to go to the waiting area for the oral exam, from there we will pick you up and take you first to the preparation room and then to the oral exam.
The correction time for telc exams is up to six weeks. You can use our exam status to keep up to date with where your documents are at the moment - at the post office, at telc, or back at our office! Unfortunately, we cannot influence the duration of the correction time, we are waiting just like you for the arrival of your results at the examination center. As soon as we have them, we will send you an e-mail!
Unfortunately, there is no possibility of a faster correction, the fast correction has been abolished by telc with the start of the year 2021.
We will send you a scan of your result by e-mail as soon as we receive the results from telc. You can get your original result in three ways: Pick it up in person at the exam center (don't forget your ID), have it sent to you by mail, or have someone else pick it up with a letter of authorization (Vollmacht).
If you passed both the written and oral exams, your score has no expiration date. If you only passed one part of the exam, your partial result is valid for credit until the end of the calendar year following the exam. This means, for example, that if you passed the written part in February 2021, but not the oral exam, the partial result of the written exam is valid until the end of 2022.
