Are you looking for a language school to learn German online? Then speakeasy Hamburg is the right place for you! All our courses are available online, so it’s no problem to learn German online. You can choose from various course formats - for example, how about our intensive course German? With 15 lessons per week, it's the ideal candidate for making fast progress.
Our motto at speakeasy Hamburg is that language learning should be fun and motivating - and that applies just as much when you learn German online! Accordingly, we design all our courses to be communication-oriented and spice them up with a lot of practical relevance. Our experienced teachers know how to explain even difficult topics in a way that is easy to understand. In our Intensive Course German, you will develop all four areas of competence: Listening, reading, writing and speaking. Of course, knowing grammar rules is important, but what matters most when you learn German online is putting them into practice! Therefore, in many interactive group and partner exercises, you will immediately apply what you have learned in conversations.
We place particular emphasis on small groups: On average, there are six to eight people in the course - at particularly popular times, the maximum number of ten participants can also be reached. In any case, however, it remains manageable, because we find that small groups contribute to helping students to successfully learn. After just a few days, you and your classmates will grow together as a team and you can support each other in exercises. In addition, the Intensive Course German is a great opportunity to get to know other course participants from many different countries.
In the Intensive Course German, we work with a popular textbook as well as with our own speakeasy materials. You are welcome to purchase the printed book; however, this is also available as a digital version, which makes it even easier to learn German online. You can find our speakeasy material in our online library, which is available to you around the clock. Here you will also find all the information, for example, which homework has to be completed by the next deadline. The information helps you to structure the way you learn German online and to prepare perfectly for the next course day.
Your intensive course German will take place in the virtual classroom from Monday to Thursday. When you register, you can choose the time that suits you best from three options. You can start to learn German online at 09:00, 12:00 or 15:00 CET. You have two and a half hours of lessons per day and a 15-minute break in between – which is a chance to get a coffee and chat with your classmates online, making it a relaxed experience to learn German online.
On Fridays, you don't have any lessons. You can therefore enjoy a nice long weekend or use the day off to study and review so that you can better learn German in the next class. Why don't you drop by our regular grammar workshops, in which the content of your Intensive Course German will be deepened, and you can practice it together with other workshop participants while you learn German online.
